Supercell Office, Shanghai

The curving and mostly continuous brick wall that travels throughout the Shanghai Supercell office derives from China’s most famous architectural element, the Great Wall. This sinuous representation collects and organizes the distinct program, and hosts a variety of textures and graphics, providing a playful touch. The “wall” protects the core functions of the office and acts as a gate for outsiders while the work and meeting spaces are arranged in various zones around the building’s perimeter.
