Hatfield-Dowlin Complex, UofO

Akin to football players on the line of scrimmage braced to dominate their opponents, so too stands the 145,000 square-foot Hatfeld-Dowlin Complex, a physical representation of the strength and innovation of the University of Oregon football program. The Complex is comprised of two buildings - a “teaching center” and an “office bar” - divided into box-like elements, stacking and interlocking as a cohesive and interdependent composition.

The public lobby and reception areas celebrate the Oregon Ducks’ legacy and acknowledge donors and sponsors. The Complex includes a weight room, indoor sprint track, meeting rooms, team video theaters, offense and defense strategy rooms, and a conference suite that accommodates the entire coaching staff.
